UAV Development and Opportunities

DESCRIPTION: The Center for Advanced Aerospace Platforms and Applications (CAAPA) will be presenting on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and the development and opportunities in Florida. CAAPA was established to promote the creation and expansion of space-enabled and space-enabling technologies as applied to the development of unmanned and autonomous vehicles and applications. Florida stands alone as the place to develop, manufacture, test, market, and operate unmanned aerospace systems including spacecraft, UAS, USV, UGV, and AUV as well as employment strategies and applications for these systems.

The MMMC will host an executive update of the progress / Expansion / Opportunity at Airglades Airport (2IS) which is near Clewiston in Hendry County.
Airglades Airport, unlike most other airports, is actual ownership rather than lease. At the end of the day - you own your facilities! As this is a new opportunity to the industry, you will be provided information and details before anyone else, allowing you more time to be strategic in your decision making process. |
